Since April of 1980, the Practice has built up an impressive track record dealing with projects as varied as garden design layouts for Reo Stakis Esq to the Master planning of the landscape works for the Great Western Road Retail Park in Glasgow.

We pride ourselves in giving a personal service to ensure that landscape planning conditions are met, and that work is carried out on time, to specification and within Budget. This has led to many repeat commissions and a loyal Client base that we have served over the past twenty three years.

Awards

Cleland Village Enhancement Competition:

In 1990 we were one of six consultancies chosen to prepare design build plans to identify sites to promote development, environmental improvement and develop tourist potential in the village of Cleland, Lanarkshire and eventually won the competition resulting in a contract of works being let for implementation. The competition was adjudged by the Scottish Development Agency and principals of non participant practices.

Civic Trust Major Award 1997:

Martin Berkley Environmental Design won one of the five Major Civic Trust Awards, in association with Ian Munroe Architects of Kilmarnock, for work carried out on the conservation of the Laigh Kirk, Kilmarnock and associated works to the adjoining Kirk yard.
